Dr. Shafik Sachedina is an inspiring figure. Born in 1950, he emigrated from Dar-Es-Salaam, Tanzania to London, England as a young man. He graduated from Guy’s Hospital Medical and Dental School, University of London in the mid-1970s. An accomplished dental surgeon, he has long served patients in and around the city of London.
But Dr. Sachedina is more than just a doctor. He’s also an entrepreneur. Many of his business schemes have made great healthcare more available to the British public. One example of this can be seen in Sussex.
Today, Sachedina serves as a joint chairman of Sussex Health Care Company. This organization provides support services in the medical field. They even run twenty care homes, mainly serving the region of Sussex. Over the two-plus decades they’ve been in business, these homes have won numerous awards.
